    Default VE Day (Victory in Europe Day)

    Today is an important date and i wanted to create a topic where we could honour and give our thanks to everyone who fought in the World War II. It is the day that marked the end of the European part of the war and it is a good time to think of what we have and to see that we have so much because so many people have fought for our freedom and our lives.

    In Netherlands we call it Bevrijdingsdag (celebrated on 5th of May) which means "Liberation Day" and it is the freedom that we have been given and we should always remember and treasure each day when the skies above us are clear. I want to thank your great nation and it's great people for all you have done for letting this day be peaceful and calm. Thank you!!!

    well said Lex each and everyone of us have a great deal to be thankful for had it not been for the bravery of our servicemen and women we wouldnt enjoy the freedoms that we do today..
