Im amazed no one has been talking about the Earthquake and Tsunami that has taken place in Japan.
Some of the footage that is being shown is devastating
Its horrendous to think of what the final death count will be, and with risks of radiation leaks, and possible reactor meltdowns, it may carry on for many years to come.
My thoughts go out to all that have and will be affected

Thank you for starting this topic, Magic! It was a very painful reminder of tsunami and Rasmus was calm, but i had to go to the bathroom and just could not stop crying. But what we could see in Japan was very different. I did not understand what was going on at first and just two hours before the earthquake took place, i went to drink something and met Rasmusīs Dad who told me that Japanese TV channel suddenly went off. It was two hours before the disaster. A good friend of mister Henrik is in Niigata and he could talk to him yesterday, but not today. Let us pray and hope there is no radiation leaks and that they can take it under control. It is really awful, especially when we think of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. A country that has been through something no one else has been. If not some devices made and invented in Japan, Rasmus would not be here with all of us... All i can say that it was NOT a natural disaster.
They certainly all need our prayers. I have been watching it on the news today and can't begin to know how those poor survivors must be feeling. Everything gone. Heartbreaking is the only word to describe it. One wonders if these disasters will ever end. I don't think I have ever known so many in such a short space of time during my lifetime. Lets hope the San Andreas fault isn't the next thing.
Unable to sleep, so watching the news.
It is amazing how technology is able to get this information around the world in the blink of an eye, and yet we are totally powerless to do anything about the forces of nature.
Also, im Fukushima, a hydrogen explosion has just taken place at plant 1. Now I know nothing about Nuclear Physics, but surely, with something as dangerous as nuclear reactors, was it a good idea to build them in an area that is prone to earthquakes?
YOu cant help feeling sorry for Japan. The earthquake, the Tsunami, and the Nuclear reactor explosions. the saying goes that things come in three. They have had theres. Is there anything else that could possibly go wrong for them?
listening to the news this morn they seem to think another 1 is on the way maybe by thursday
Cheeky aren't I
A volcano has erupted there now as well... Absolutely heartbreaking... It makes you feel like you have to do something!
Its horrible to think of all the people out there, missing and dead :( I have friends out in Japan, and its hard to believe that I was out there 4 years ago in that place...
