BIG BROTHER RACISM - What do you think

I hate racism, but I also hate Big Brother more so haven't watched any of this programme. Having said that, I don't really see it as racism from the clips I have seen, but more total ignorance. Let's face it, when you look at the females (and I use the term advisedly) that are at the centre of these allegations.....let's just say that the butter in their sandwich wasn't spread right to the edge of the bread!!!

They are a downright ignorant lot. Instead of using this opportunity to soak up lots of information about someone else's culture, they've used it to harass some poor woman who doesn't deserve it.

I hope that this spells the end for this Channel 4 festival of crap, but of course, it won't. They're already advertising open auditions for this years BB and by the time that one comes around, the great British public (or at least the ones who watch BB) will have by-and-large forgotten about this scandal.

They should just shut the programme down .That would shut them all up.Its load rubbish anyway

Channel 4 has denied claims that Celebrity Big Brother contestant Shilpa Shetty has suffered racist bullying.

Channel 4 and TV regulator Ofcom have had more than 21,000 complaints about treatment of Shetty.

The station said in a statement: "To date there has been no overt racial abuse or racist behaviour directed against Shilpa Shetty within the Big Brother house.

"However there has undoubtedly been a cultural and class clash between her and three of the British females in the house."

The statement added that housemates had constant access to support from Big Brother, and Shetty had "not voiced any concerns of racial abuse".



I wonder what Shilpa Shetty actually thinks ???

............and now we know Chewy. She's complained of racism to the producers of Big Brother. Good. Get it off the TV and put something more interesting on.

channel 4 will always cover its arse they always do

Well I feal shows put that sort of thing on there on purpose.Boring Tele dont draw attention.See how big stars draw attention to them selfs by doing stupid things.And it seems the more they do the more people buy.Madonna and Michel Jackson sell millions every time they do something the rest of us wouldnt ever dream of doing.Any fans of american chopper know that half there fans are female and like my wife they just watch to see the family fights.So sometimes when raitings go down they start a buzz like this one lol!

Goody voted off TV's Big Brother

Jade Goody, at the centre of an alleged racism row on Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother, has been evicted.

Goody, 25, was up against Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, who had been the target of the alleged abuse from Goody and others in the reality TV show.

Instead of emerging from the house to a crowd, Goody was taken to a studio for an interview with host Davina McCall.

She looked visibly shocked when McCall showed her clips from TV news headlines about the row, adding "that's intense".

After being shown clips from the Big Brother show, which had led to the allegations, Goody said: "It's nasty."

She added: "It wasn't meant in a racist way at all. I'm not racist, but looking at that film I can see why it has had the impact it's had.

"I look like one of those people I don't like.

"Yes, I said those things and they look nasty, but I'm not racist."

Goody received 82% of the total votes cast.



I didn't and don't watch big brother as I can't stand it, - did Jane goody look sincere when she was so say shocked ???
