What famous person have you met?

I once met phil collins In Caister, Gt Yarmouth. Was lucky enough to spend a little time with him, and he even bought us a pint.

Its nice to know that there are celebs out there that do take time out to mingle with the people that helped get them to where they are today.

Spent a little time, A few years back (When i was a singleton) with..... Wait for it Richard Ashcrofts sister!!!!! Wow i here you say lol. Well she was a nice girl and all that BUT she drank to much ect ect .....hence Our relationship only lasted for 7 hours lol

What famous person have you met or seen in the past ? And what were they like. And as Stinky bert says, Why do they always look smaller in real life. I had the luck of going to a film premier before christmas and i met Cameron Diaz(think that how to spell it lol). And on the same night met Jude Law with that woman from titanic.. Cant remember her name lol.

And about 10 years ago went to stay at Andrew Rigleys house in cornwall(mate of a mate thing). And nearly drowned trying to surf with him (long story). Very nice bloke, He had a converted telephone box in his garden with a shower in it (cool) We had to shower before going back in the house lol. And for a man with all that money and a massive collection of lush cars.... Guess what he drove ? .......... A clapped out volvo estate lmao.

I actually know Bonnie Tyler through someone who used to work with her husband - it's a long story. Anyway, she's an incredibly nice, normal down-to-earth woman who loves a good laugh and a pint down the pub. She's also usually the first to buy a round!

I've met quite a lot of famous people, as I used to work in a restaurant where loads of them used to come in. The very worst was Wendy Richards, (before EastEnders started) who spent her whole time acting like a diva and clicking her fingers to attract our attention. Rude cow!

My very favourite face to face meeting was with Tina Charles ("I love to love"). I know she's not an A list celeb, definitely no Cameron Diaz, but she was FAB! She was at a mates house and spent the whole time drinking vodka and coke, smoking, telling dirty jokes and slagging off another singing star of yesteryear, who at the time, wanted her to appear with her on QVC to promote an album of number 1 hits. She was incandescant with rage about this and spent much time saying how this woman could just f-off if she thought she was going to get Tina to do this. She was funny with it though and I loved her. Superb!

Well, I used to work for a National Charity and spoke to alot of stars, I met Tosh from the Bill (Kevin Lloyd - who sadly is dead now), really nice bloke though, he drove a beat up granada.

Mark Currey (the Ginger nut from Blue Peter) whom seemed to have his finger up his "Cough" - thought he was the bees knees

DJ Sara Cox, DLT and a few others.

Noel Edmunds and he's shorter than me :D

Bumped into Dr Who - Tom Baker a few times in Focus in Stroud :)

I used to work in for a security firm, dealing with events, i met quite a few famous people then.

My favourote one would have to be Richard Branson, he was so down to earth, he didnt like my bosses and kept coming to me as they were trying to bottom kiss him, i spoke to him like a human and he spent quite a bit of time chatting to me.

The others include Chris Eubank (His house is gourgeous and a very good host), he invited me and a couple of couleges round for coffee.

Alan Prost, i got to sit in his race car, got the picture of it too (this made me
really happy knowing i love Formula 1)

Joanna Lumley, she tried to run me down in her Jag, so i wasnt too happy with her.

Damon Hill, when i was working at Brands Hatch, they came and did their testing for Minardi, he wasnt all that bad, a little pompous, his wife mind you was a complete cow, she thought the world owed her something because or who her husband was lol.

Spiced Up (A tribute band to the spice girls) they were really nice.

Prince Philip, now he was a really nice fella, i had to gaurd his toilet so that no-one put anything on it or in it lol, we had a good chat, and didnt envy my job at that point.

when i was little and living in london i can't remember why but there was a big portacabin type trailer thing at the bottom of our street one dayfilled with celebs. however the only one i actually remember being there was sting from the police, he was such a nice guy he spent quite a bit of time talking to us kids and never seemed to be put out by us although the others with him never took much time to talk to us (perhaps why i don't remember who they were).
also we went to see a panto one year where bonnie langford tripped over and fell on my brothers knee (made his day i can tell you) after the show she came to find us so that she could appologise and see if he was ok, she was really nice too just too blimmy skinny.

i remember when i was younger i went to the pictures with a friend to watch a horror film. there was four boys sat at the back and as we walked pasted they asked if we would like to sit with them. they never told us their names but we had names for them as they looked and acted very much like the beatles. they were staying at a hotel in bromley. they said they'd meet us the next day but they never did and i still wonder to this day. did we have a brush with fame??????????
but i have seen alot of stars as i used to go to alot of conserts. dave clark five, the who, gene pitney, the animals to name a few. and when we were on holiday we meet the four tops and i even had a kiss off one (on the cheek) don't you remember that kelly and foxy you had one too. that made our night.
