I really like these kind of documentaries, but have to confess that that I haven't seen any of the episodes.

Watching shows that have been digitally remastered has come on leaps and bounds over the years, and again, for me, makes for better viewing.
After all, the war wasn't in Black and white, it was full colour, blood guts an all.

Having seen lots of Documentaries on the Wars though, on Discovery History and other channels, I guess we still don't really appreciate what our armed forces went though to provide us with the freedom that we currently have. The Average Tom, Dick and Harry went through hell for us.

I'm too young - never heard of it :)
