Hi guys
I've offered to do this before but was some time ago ...........If you have any questions about insurance please feel free to ask me ...............I'm not looking to get your insurances but I know working in the industry that not everything is in plain english.
I was prompted to write about this again by the collapse of another travel company leaving many travellers stuck abroad (they're the lucky ones) and those that have yet to travel.
My main areas are Motor, Household and Travel Insurances but I can also ask advice of others for many types of insurances.
Like I said I'm not going to ask you about renewal dates and stuff so I can try and get your business .......I just want to help my ChatanPlay family :)

Not picking on any one company, but something they are not perhaps quite up front as they could be - a word of warning for holidaymakers - before you take on travel insurance check your household policy - it has only been in last couple of years that we realised the only thing we needed covering was health.... as household policy covered us for luggage, valuable etc. you can also add on cancellation if you feel the need. It is amazing how little premiums are against travel agents.
P.S forgot to say - may check you out next time Firefox - go compare!!! lol
would be happy to help lioness :)
Cover is better under home insurance for personal possessions cover and doesn't usually cost much.
The most important things you are covering yourself for on travel insurance is cancellation and curtailment, and repatriation in event of injury, sickness or worse.
If you are travelling abroad - you also need to take the ash cloud in to consideration (don't know if it is still going on) but most travel insurance wont cover you for delayed travel. But as long as you are booked through an EU airline they have foot the bill to get you home.
I don't know much about other policies but have been told by our Travel Insurers that they are one of the only companies that cover financial failure - something else to consider in light of the recent news of another travel firm going bust and people being stranded!
yeah foxy i need some advice on insurance can u get me it for nowt lmao
if i could i would :P
