where do you shop?

well we go to morrisons, summerfield , local butchers, local shop, we buy a mix and match of items ,some name brands some not .have done it online with asda but i found doing it online was expensive also they palm you off with there choice if nothing available

i miss our summerfield it was burnt down and never re-opened :( i never shopped online buit sometimes have a nosey what offers are on at asda etc .........i like iceland for freezer bits !

I have never shopped on line. Our local large village/small town has an excellent family run supermarket which is in the running for an award for one of the best independent shops. It stocks lots of locally produced items and I actually find the prices are very reasonable. I do occasionally pop into Somerfield but find by comparison that they are very expensive. I NEVER DO TESCO!!! I think they are the reason for the virtual loss of our farming communities and one day when TESCO rule the world everybody will be paying exactly what TESCO ask. I HATE these multi-million pound concerns. I always use the local butcher, greengrocer, chemist, post office and papershop and I don't want to see the local independent supermarket taking over the whole village. I'll get off my soap box now!!!!!

lol @ bib can u oldies climb that high? wheres all the quality gone ? how do we get food thats called no frills? surely a all the potatoes are grown the same way.milk is produced the same way , we get no frills cows do we? back in the 80s i worked on a milk farm and i swear to god the stuff them cows had to put up with in them days is the only way ypu would get no frills lol,everythi ng seems to be about quantatity not quality

i get all my fruit and veg from r local farm shop, i get all my meat from local butchers and i would do a bit off shopping in asda altho i don't think it's great and i would shop in sainsbury's i love their own brand noodles i would eat them till they came out of my ears lol i would never shop online as i like 2 c what i am buying would'nt trust those buggers 2 do it no way that's all from me 4 now you will b glad 2 hear hehehe :o)p

Our village now has a local market on Friday mornings where you can buy garden veg, etc - great, fresh and cheaper than anywhere else.

i love fresh veg off our market and sometimes go to local butcher not always though !

last xmas i went to the local butchers i got 2 chops, 4 burgers , 2 steaks and it cost me 20 quid ......alas i have never been back
