It's all a bit scary I must admit. Having seen a Doctor talk about it on TV this morning I don't feel quite so bad. It sounds as if it's quite easily treated but as with most strains of flu the most worrying thing is that it could turn to pneumonia. Because of my heart condition I have had a pneumovax which sets you up for life but I do rather fear for my family who haven't had the opportunity of being offered it. As usual though, I'm afraid to say I think the media is hyping it all up a bit too much - anything to take our minds off the really serious financial crisis which is going on. Let's you all members and their families are able to avoid it. There are cases in Devon and Wiltshire so it could be closing in on Dorset. Can't actually understand why they are letting people leave Mexico to be honest, they are arriving in the country with no apparent checks, going home, mixing with people and being told if they find they have symptoms then stay indoors. Goodness knows how many people they will have been in contact with in the meantime - once again it's another fine mess they have got us into Stanley!!!! :-)
