    Default Anyone Else got at daughter in year 8 @ school??

    Our daughter has just gone back to school and is in year 8. She has come home with a letter about the new campaign to try and beat cervical cancer.

    We have to decide if we want her to have the injection, it is given in three injections.

    I have read the information on Immunisation - Vaccines - HPV but I'm still not 100% sure.

    Of course I want her to be protected but would like to hear if others have experienced this injection and what your thoughts are about it.

    my daughter got the needle last friday and i think its a good thing if i got the choice i would take it. my eldest daughters left school so shes to wait and get a letter from the doctor before she gets hers.

    Thanks hun it's nice to talk to someone thats had experience of it - I'm glad she was ok. I do think it is a good idea and think I'll read the info again just to be clear.

    sammii is in year 10 and i dont remember receiving a letter to do with the injection hun x but will look out for it
