People On Social Benefits?

didnt see the programme have u a link sexy ?,but think this is a gr8 topic for discussion .
1st of all didnt they have a social life ,lol .through no fault of my own ..well i dont think so ..im on benefits have been since my last heart attack ,but this isnt about me .ok my opoinion is surely he shouldve had the snip, and what was she a production line for mothercare.
unless your long term sick ,elderly ,it should be a stop gap ,a way to support your family untill you get a job,wouldnt you rather have a pay packet with say 300 quid than a giro with 30 quid....i know which i would want.better shut aint i lol could be on all day over this .

I didnt see the programme, but I will keep quiet for once and not voice my opnions on the whole JSA/ IS DSS payments............ or dare i mention CSA and tax credits offices!!!

If you have an opinion then express it please, i'm on benefit. 3 claims of disability living allowance - myself and both boys, i would love to go to work but i lack confidence and have never worked, i would have to find something to fit in with my kids like others with a family. my hubby worked 60+ hrs a week, and we were getting no where,getting more into debt every month. he gave up work to enable us to sort out our finances.

I have no objection to people who deserve benefits receiving them. What I object to is those lazy bastards who have no intention of getting a job, but want to live off the state. I also object to people such as immigrants who have not paid into the system getting anything, especially people like that pakistani with the hooks for hands. All he does is preach hatred to the british & americans while getting over £1000 a month in benefits!!!!!!!!!!! Deport the swine I say

Many years ago, whilst single, i was off work for a period of time due to injury. During this time, i tried to get some state aid, and do you think i could? there was so much red tape and issues i couldnt bypass and i never got a penny.

I had never claimed a penny before that time, and left school straight into a job.

Since that time, its always been hard getting any aid, though we do now get a little help with family credits ( not much i might add )

It seems our benefits system fails those that need it, yet give out to those that dont.

These opinions are my own, and i know there are countless people out there that are deserving, and need help. There are others that abuse it, and lets face it, if they can get away with it, whose fault is that ?

We are the ones that pay for it every month out of our pay packets.

i think your estimates for the hooked man were underestimated cj.
firstly he is in a house worth 800,000 yes and thats pounds and secondly his monthly income is in excess of 1000 per month. it cost at least 30,000 a year poss more while he was being held in prison as a catogry a prisoner.add too this the fact that special branch are prob keeping him under there ever so watchfull eye the total cost is prob in excess of 2 million not bad for a cleric who hates all our country stands for. add to that legal aid costs etc he has cost a small fortune. all i can say is well done those wonderfull people at the home office who show all that enter the uk can have what they want as long as u are not a uk citizen . also a big ty to our illustrious euro parliment for there wonderfull laws that allow this too happen and a huge ty to the hauge convention also. im on benifits and i have had to fight hard to get these im no sponger and would love to return too work but unfortunately due to illness i cant. just think what the sort of money that is spent on him could do more for nurses,police,firemen. the list is endless

i would love to work also, but not everywhere is wheelchair friendly, i have kids with additional needs and often get phone calls about kenans behaviour. i've never worked, not so sure that someone would employ someone like me to do a normal persons job. society puts barriers in the way of too many people.
