    Charity 'may offend pupils' claim

    Bristol City Council said schools adopting charities should not offend anyone on the grounds of equality, disability, race or religion.

    Okay I thought England was Church of England - which is Christian and now we are not allowed in our schools to pick a Christian based Charity to raise money for ....

    Where has our freedom gone - Britain is no long British it is multi cultural - which is fine - but when we go to most other foreign countries we have to abide by there laws and traditions - so why are we letting fear and and other non british born people dictate what we can do in our own country.

    What on earth is Britain coming too.

    What do you think ?

    this country is the laughing stock of the world in my opinion-its a predominently christian nation,yet we cant say merry christmas etc,but other faiths/religions can celebrate their festivals unhindered-heck last year during the world cup we were told we couldnt fly the england flag during england games in case it offended non english people!and if they say it may offend non christians,well hang on a minute,i bet it wouldnt offend anyone anyway,and what if they chose to support for example a muslim charity(chose a faith at random there)dont think think that it may offend non muslims?nah,course not,as its not our country anymore,its evry1 elses-i'll be honest,im not proud to live in this country as its *insert naughty word here* and it'll only get worse,alot worse
