i watch as much darts as i can ,although bdo isnt a patch on the pdc .....do u agree? bristow and lowe were my favorites but nowadays it has to be taylor n barney ,wade and king ,others cant produce the quality .just look at the noob ted hanky most overated dart player i have seen lol im glad chissy took him apart last night .heheheh but still prefer pdc ,hope an outsider wins i really do

I love watching Phil Taylor play but only get to watch what comes on normal tv as we don't need sports channel in this house - do you remember Big Cliff Lezerenko???? My mum's met him and Stevie Beaton - she's the one to blame for my addiction - I remember watching Eric Bristowe, Jocky Wilson - I must admit I don't all this pantomime stuff when they walk on - just walk on and get on with your darts.

I watch some of the first round matches Noel - did you see the guy with Dartitise (not right spelling) I really felt for him he was brave to get up - unfortunately I'm not so brave and had to give up playing it (not that I EVER managed to score a 180 lol) but I still love watching it.............................

I used to love darts, and was in a pub team. We used to do pretty well, but...

One day, for some reason i cannot understand why, i succumbed to the dreaded " cant let go" syndrome. Now if anyone has experianced it, you will know what i mean. You simply goto release the dart, but the lil bugger wont go. Im sure its all in the head but it really drove me nuts, had to quit playing.

Anyone else heard of this or even experianced it?

Having said that though, the days of John Lowe, leighton rees an co were my era :0)

I have it Magic but couldn't spell it right lol - and apparently it is why Eric Bristowe gave up playing

My favourite player is Wolfie. Shall be watching this weekend. It's on for such a long time though - if I was to watch it all my house would be like a pig sty and we wouldn't eat anything!!!!

Yep - he ought to win next year. He deserves to. I just think nerves got the better of him in the end - Wolfie's been there so many times before I guess experience payed off in the end. Excellent game though wasn't it?
