Cheeky aren't I
i've had my fair share of complaints, phone calls, exclusion letter from schools to do with ashley and kenans behaviour. just hate it when 'teachers' feel they have to belittle you making you feel its completely your fault. also i have the problem of getting too different stories from kenan's teaching assistant who is with him all the time during school and the special educational needs co-ordinator. both feedbacks are different but i tend to listen to the teaching assistant as he is the one in the classroom. one thing that did annoy me about ashley's teacher last year is that he made an unprofessional comment about dreading having ashley in his class because ashley has attention deficit hyperactive disorder. he expected his class to be trashed hmm if ashley wasnt on his medication then it would have been lol
the schools in scotland already text when things go wrong at school lol
I'm sure I saw a TV report about that.
Bob Geldof was trying to get schools to do it, as children going missing or being kidnapped etc and after a whole day missing it's harder to find them as time is of the essence.
I think it's a good idea, as most people now a days, if they can't afford a land line, they have a mobile on pay as you go.
At some point I think it is ok if they would get more information from school but I must admit that when I was at school and had bad results I did not like it when my parents knew all the time especially when I was paying for college myself.
However when I was at grammar school we did get a report with the average scores and one parent needed to sign so that they knew how well or bad I was doing
This Fox might out trick you but that does not mean I don't care
We Had Anual Reports when i was at school i used to dread mine i used to leave it at school in my locker for a few days lol
yes it is a good idea to get text messages from the schools it makes your children safe and you know where they are you need to know where they are at all times my children are all grown up but i have grandchildren i wouldn,t want anything to happen to them.I would like to wish everyone in chatanplay a very merry xmas and a very happy newyear
I think it's a good idea for schools to be able to text parents or guardians, particularly if children are absent. However, when children are at school, surely the teachers are responsible for them. I was always happy for my daughter to learn respect, manners and good behaviour from her teachers as well as from her dad and me. I don't think that texts should be sent about behaviour unless the child is totally uncontrollable. Too many texts from school could breed familiarity between parents and teachers and I do not feel that this is the right way to go. There - that's probably given you some food for thought!!!!! Personally I'm surprised that these poor overworked teachers have time for all this texting!!!! LOL
ive must say ive never heard of the texting system !
oi whats occurin !
