Woke up this morning, fed axolotls, all was fine.
Went for me hairbrush which is in drawer near tank and spooted some white balls.
Thought it was mould!! but wondered how as they are cleaned regularly.
Looked in internet to find the axolotl has laid eggs.
Lots and lots lol
Apparently they hatch in around 17days oooooooooo.
I rang pet shop, she advised me to seperate mum from eggs so she wont eat them, keep an eye on eggs for couple of days.
When they hatch they will be little swimmers.
Feed them on tiny bits of beef heart like i feed my others.
Plenty of oxygen and food and all should be great!
We will see, ill keep you updated.

Glad you put the pictures on, I did not want to look stupid by asking what they look like! They are really sweet, do they grow to a big size?
cool jacs r they hard 2 look after ? cos i want some 4 my empty tank :o(( sittin here doing nowt needs sumat in it again let me know cheers hun xx
hiya guys,
they grow to be about 12" and can live upto 20yrs (12 in captivity)
They r dead easy to look after.
Feed them bloodworm, beef heart, anything meaty as they r meat eaters.
Feed them by hand as if u just throw it in tank they r dosile so will miss it.
We often stick meat on end of chopstick , put in front of mouth and they take it pff quite easily, just make sure its not to big a piece of beef heart.
Apparently as they grow up they decide whether to live on land or water but im not sure bout that cos even now as we fish them out from time to time they go flpooy like fish.
They r not fish....
They r very friendly and gorgeous creatures
If they do bite the their teeth r not sharp enough to pierce human skin.
They r cold water creatures.
They love ornaments in the tank which they can hide in etc.
They dont need or like light in the tank but need good slow filtration (not on fast speed as it can stress them out)
Make sure any pebbles are over 2cm wide as they tend to pick them up when passing and wouldnt like them to choke on anything to small.
They can not live with fish as they will eat your fish haha.
Anymore questions i would be pleased to answer.
You need around a 2ft tank for these to be happy. :)
