Singer Britney Spears' actress sister, Jamie Lynn, has told a US magazine she is pregnant at the age of 16.

Spears, who plays a schoolgirl in US TV comedy Zoey 101, told OK! magazine the news was a shock to her and the baby's father, boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

She said she was 12 weeks into her pregnancy, and planned to raise her child in Louisiana for "a normal life".

So what do you think about "young mums" is 16 years old too young or do you think it i better to have children earlier rather than later?

well that's a good question chewy it really depends on how much help and support the family and her boyfriend are willing to give her once the baby is born.

i was a young mum when i had my eldest son and i do admit it was hard work looking after him in the early days, i wouldn't change the fact i had him but maybe the age that i had him at

some young mothers are just very natural at coping with children and some are not if you got a very loving partner and a very loving family then anything is possible
