Rodman Philbrick was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1951, but currently lives in Maine and Florida.
He is an author of both adult and children's novels
Rodman also uses the names William R. Dantz and Chris Jordan to write books

As Chris Jordan, Philbrick has published two novels in the thriller genre: Taken and Trapped (published in the UK as Lost), both featuring former FBI special agent Randall Shane, who investigates the disappearance of missing children.
