I love DIY - any of you out there like getting your hands dirty?
I love re-organising rooms, painting, putting up shelves, new pictures, making cushions, throws and curtains.
When we buy something that needs putting together I'm the one that puts it together, I see it as a challenge and get a great feeling of achievement once it's completed.
I love making things out of old or disused things.
One of my greatest achievements are fixing a JCB lawn mower (worth about £150 - which a friend of mine was throwing out) which had no wheels on the front and the electrics where knackered - Now it mows our lawn perfectly - I sorted out the electrics and used Williams old stabilisers off his bike for the front wheels - anything is possible with a bit of imagination.
So how about you lot, have you had any DIY disasters or what's your greatest DIY achievement?

We've decided to paint the kitchen - I hate yellow lol, I painted one small wall - think it gonna take me a while to finish it - perhaps start it again after Christmas, as we might be having a new kitchen fitted :D
