Know what you mean Sarah. Trying to keep afloat in this financial climate is difficult enough. I'd rather feed my family with good food and keep on top of the bills than have a holiday. Once you've had one you soon forget it anyway - what a killjoy I am!!! LOL!
As I said before - I'll be self-catering at home as usual. It's good and it means you don't have to bore all your relations with holiday photos!!! Plus you don't come home to a mountain of washing and ironing.

i would love to have a holiday lol but i think we are all in the same boat at the moment especially with people being made redundant like my better half so we shall have to wait and see what happens before we start planning anything like that :(

You live in a lovely part of the country Skit. Why not just get a bus out into the beautiful countryside - I often find that just a day away from all the normal routine can, in itself, feel like a holiday. You can always take a picnic so it can be a really cheap day.
