Ambitions

My daughter is on her way back from Florida today, whilst there she had the opportunity of achieving a lifelong ambition of swimming with dolphins - I think she has wanted to do it since she was about 5 years old - she is now 22!!! I guess everything comes to he who waits. No doubt we shan't hear the end of it when she gets home. Unfortunately as money is tight here, as it is for most people at the moment, I doubt I will achieve my remaining ambitions which are to visit India, China and Peru. Have you managed during your lifetime managed to achieve any lifelong ambitions - if so, I'd love to know what they were.

I've always wanted to go and visit the Giants Causeway but doubt I'll get to go as the price of passports are so high now :(

My other ambition is for hubby and I to run a campsite combine something we enjoying doing as well as working :)

Bib there are charities apparently that you can do sponsored walks for that as long as you raise a certain amount of sponsorship you get to see different countries - don't know how you find out about it though just remember a friend telling me about it when our daughter was interested in the Great Wall of China

As far as I am aware, the Giants Causeway is in Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK so you don't need a passport to get there.

Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, therefore you do not need a passport if you are travelling from other parts of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales). The airline or ferry company will insist on photographic identification so a passport is advisable. Check with the transport company concerned.

I do not have any photo ID and was advised to get a passport - daughter is to young to have a driving licence - and hubby doesn't have any photo ID either

Firefox, if you have a driving licence that will do if not get a provisional it was acceptable on my last trip to Belfast.
