Have any of you thought about having or even letting your children have Botox injections. I read this morning on yahoo about a mother who was giving her 8 year daughter them , just to keep up in the intensively competitive world of the child beauty pageant circuit. There's no way I would ever put any of my children thought that sort of thing , would not even have it done myself.

What is the world coming to? Every time I hear about botox injections I think how they totally messed up the face of an attractive Lesley Ash. What price vanity?

People look what they look like, whatever age they are, and they should just accept it.

This sounds really frightening to me and i do not know why would anyone wish to change their looks. In reality, it is what inside the person that makes them uncomfortable because you are the way you were once created and you can train and get muscles and get strong or you can change your haircut or the clothes you wear. But there are chemicals that we all produce and it is what makes us like or dislike someone. Sad thing is that most people try to follow the trends and what the media feeds them and it results in such craziness. Body dies in the end and the brain should change, but it just stops for some people like this "mother" and refuses to work. Girls are a different world, but it is the men that should take the most care to let them all know that we love them for who and what they are and that there are no pretty and not pretty people and that there is no measure, but only a measure of what is good and not good, what is decent and not decent, what is right and what is wrong. Simple truth so often overlooked and ignored.

It amazes me that people would consider doing certain things to their bodies. They have collagen injections in their lips and wind up looking like Cher, who really looked fine before, but now her lips look too strange. There is another actress on the Bold and the Beautiful, who appears to have had a collagen injection and her lips look halfway deformed. This botox injection is some kind of dead cells, as I understand it, that they are putting into people's faces. Has enough time gone by, to see what the effects are others who had had the injections? Over time their faces could start to age 10 years more than they are old. They may be very sorry. To do that kind thing to a child should be criminal and against the law.
