I've just found a couple of groups on facebook that made me remember some local places I visited growing up that have now been destroyed and I wish I had taken and kept more photos of my visits.
BBC - Tucktonia, Christchurch's 1970s miniature town
Can't really remember much about it but I'm going to surf the net and see if I can jog my memory - my brother is currently going through a lot of old family photos so lets hope he finds some of Tucktonia - shame there isn't something like this for kids to enjoy locally any more.
Also The Southbourne Shell House
each time we visited I'm sure we found more shells (characters) that weren't there the last time.
I am going to take a lot more photos from our holidays and days out now - it's easier to keep loads with the invention of digital camera compared to the cameras we used to use (and no I'm not talking about the old box brownies like Lion's era used to use lol)
Any places you can find from your childhood that have been demolished and you wish you'd kept more photos etc???

oi whats occurin !
I agree .. you can never replace a moment in time, so capture it and remember the memories through pictures.. I have thousands of photos and love looking through them all. I'm in the process of scanning them all into my pc so my kids can have copies.
People and places change and it's nice to have a record.
Good tip Jo, thankfully I do that hehehehe
