Find a good spot not too far away from the camping site. One adult disappears carrying squash and biscuits and a bag of flour which is leaking thus leaving a trail to the selected position. Another adult is in the know and after about 10 minutes says "Where is so and so?" then notices(!) the flour. Everybody follows and eventually you all meet up for refreshment. Quite fun and very cheap.
If the weather's not too good you can always take large pebbles for the kids to paint and varnish - they make very good doorstop presents for grandparents, etc.
Have a make a hat out of natural things - grasses, wild flowers, etc - even the adults can join in and then have a fashion show.
fab ideas Bib and hope you'll be able to pop over............... thanks for all your ideas ..... we've got frisbies etc but want to make day time kid time ........... if visitors want to sight see we can .............. after tea adult time................. ooooo extra frying pans needed lol
Still hoping Tracey is going to let me have dates, etc. She's too busy with Mafia Wars I think!!! Glad you liked my ideas. I was in the Girl Guides for years, made it to Queens Guide then helped with a couple of companies. I loved the camping thing. Always had a week off work to help out so can always come up with a few suggestions, just afraid now I'm so old they might all seem a bit old fashioned. Really hoping I might get the chance to meet some of you.
