blast from the past

having just seen an advert on tv for the thunderbirds....it got me thinking of the toys i was bought when i was growing up , and some of them were really old toys . what is your earlt recollection and did u enjoy playing with them.

Metal Slinkys, because they did actually tumble down stairs although they used to tangle really easily,
I also loved my rubix clocks and tghe rubix ring game, i had the ring game exchanged several times as i used to always get it tangled beyond untangling, but i never managed to complete it............ I also loved my ZX Spectrum pc, but sadly my dad decided he was going to sell it and I dont think i will ever forgive him for it :(

i liked the first computer console that came out the tennis game thing ping ping ping was all the sound you got and spent hours just watching a dot go from one side of the screen to the other and hit little lines hehehe

me i remember whippn topps , u painted to topp with chalk then whipped it like hell , made lovely patterns,ker plunk, you always lost the marbles,crayons used to last from 1 christmas to the next,plastercine, playdoh.jigsaws,and the nearest thing to a computer was the sinclair calculator. and everyones favorite the teddy bear lol.

Aww KHN i remember the old roller skates that were made of metal and used to adjust with a screw part in the middle n you strapped them over your shoes,
I always wanteda kerplunk but my mum would never buy me one :'(
I remember the first Sindy doll i had, she was one of the ones that you could make her hair grow longer or shorter.............. and Girls World!!!!!! for all you lads, it was a plastic head that we could practise putting on make up and doing our hair..... now you kno why it takes us so long to get ready.......... we move, plastic heads dont ;)
