If you have a poem drop it here, if you have a topic for a poem you would like to have created, that is possible too...I will start with this one called THE DARK FOREST

My heart is gold and black
A question mark entangles it
It is surrounded by some trees
A place that does not seem to fit

I look around me at the trees
The closest are dark and horrible looking
Some are beautiful like the autumn
But they are mostly far away

I try to reach a coloured leaf
But a dark river blocks my path
A bunch of them are floating in the river
I touched a few but then they leave

I look at another tree
It is dark and dead
It brings me fear and anger
And makes me feel confused and sad

The question mark grows bigger
The blackness of the heart spreads wide
But then a coloured leaf drops on me
And I feel love inside

The goldness sparkles
The darkness of the forest gets a ray of light
But only for a moment
When I hold my friends close and tight

I should cut the dead looking trees
And make me a wooden boat
To beat the anger and confusion
To bring me back on the road

Towards the natural facts of life, across the river of dreams
Onwards to the seasons of brotherhood
Amongst friends and beloved people
That makes the blackness go for good

If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.
If a child learns to feel shame, he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement he learns confidence
If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.
He a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.



I've added this one because its one that i like, and i would like to think that i can teach my children the good ones.

Remember you can add all poems you created here but you can also do requests. I would be happy to write a poem for someone if they give a topic and perhaps tell me if it needs to sound sad, cheerful, humouristic or something like that. Maybe even for marriage vows
