sounds like a brilliant idea sarah hun i'd definitely want to come this time round as i missed the last hub meet due to other commitments that i couldn't get out of

any ideas on what sort of things we could do or places we could go (bearing in mind cost etc...)

well as long as cost doesnt stop me n nuthin comes up id be up for it-camping id be happy to do again,day out..............im not too sure,if it was a theme park id probably say no as its just not my sorta thing,plus really people go off in all directions so you dont really get to chat n get to know people as well etc,so id say camping,thats my personal preference

yea, camping sounds like the most viable option, or maybe a cheap hotel somewhere, i dunno, but i agree with steph, a theme park has people going off in little groups so would only work if you went as a little group in the first place!

yeah,n thats the main problem for me regardin goin to a theme park(apart from the fact they just dont do anything for me)so you just end up with little pockets of people maybe 4 or 5 strong,and so its like,you see everyone at the start of the day,n the end of the day,but during the day itself you'd only see a few,and so wouldnt really be the best idea-cheap hotel,well we'd have to find a place we all wanted to go to,bt its worth looking into,camping looks the most viable though like yoda said

Would be more difficult for me to visit this family as I have to come over from Holland, so if I would do this it has to be within reach of an airport, pond or someone must adopt me and pick me up before going somewhere

Cheap hotel sounds ok with me and camping could be ok as well but then I got the problem of bringing stuff with me

Concerning the theme park I must agree with Stevvy, you will get groups indeed. But some things can be combined like a weekend somewhere and visit something like a concert then to have some fun

disagree about a concert,cos you'd have various people likin diff types of music etc,plus the cost wud no doubt be high,n concerts dont do anything for me at all,i wudnt go to 1.........im still thinking camping

I'm up for camping somewhere...

...I also know that if you book Travel lodges far enough in advance (3 weeks rings a bell) then you can pay £15 a room. You can easily get 3 or 4 into a room (so long as you dont check in as a group as it is meant to be 2 adults and 2 children as you get a bed a sofa bed and a pull out bed...)

Hotel obviously comes with the luxury of bricks and mortar, but it was great in the rain last year....
