kids back in school

this is the first full week the kids have been in school,

as a parent i feel that a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders as it truely is a holiday that is far to long for the younger children to try and cope with.

it has been a complete struggle to keep the kids all occupied and to not lose your patience with being stuck with them 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

my 2 girls truely couldn't wait to get back to school last tuesday they even asked if they could go to breakfast club that morning which was a shock to me, considering it was my eldest daughters first day at her new school.

both my daughters were absolutely exhausted when they got home from their first day back in as it was such along day for them.

my eldest found the first day fun but on the wednesday she came home complaining that her hands were hurting from so much writing that she had to do lol

how do you feel now the kids are back and are your summer holiday experiences the same ? how do you feel now the kids have gone back.

im glad its back to school!! ryans gets bored and i dont know what to keep doing with him and it costs money to do diffrent things ..........luckily for me he went with his dad to work a few times and then we went to diffrent parks on picnics etc , i enjoy doing this but its far too long the summer holidays i agree !

I totally agree the summer holidays are far to long for them mine couldnt wait to get back either.

tho i aint got kids,i agree wen ur young,6 weeks is a long time,if ur away on hol sumwhere for a couple of weeks tht obv makes it about 4 weeks,so it aint as bad,but i agree neway

hey stevvy never mind 6 weeks being long when you're young, i feel like i have just had a year go by since they broke up from school in july, with the kids being home and other stuff. personally i can't wait for 2008 as this has been the worst year i have had to experience in a long long time and its not over yet!
summer holidays should be split into 2 lots of 3 weeks maybe end of june then again mid september give us all some peace including the kids!

end of september tho ud b goin into october,wen theres skool hols there anyway,plus itd probly start gettin cold,n yeah,i dno,its a long time since i was a young kid at skool lol

Im hating it Nikelle started playschool for the 1st time this term going 2 mornings a week.....

And its hit home that this time next year she will be at school 5 days a week... making me feel old.. n realising that i have to get a job after having her home with me 24/7/365 its going to be strange !!

i cried on my eldest's first day at school he was so excited he didn't even look back, but when you got six little sweethearts at home for six weeks with nothing to do with them because either something is too babyish or too advanced for the younger ones or just too plan expensive then it is such a relief for us all when school starts again

to be fair kelly id say cryin or bein upset wen ur kids start their 1st ever day at skool is normal n understandable,so absolutely nuthin wrong with it,thats for sure,think most parents wud be the same
