I've been sat at work today trying to cheer myself up by thinking about next years holiday. As alot of you go camping I thought it might be nice if we shared our experiences of different campsites. Doesn't matter what area they are in it may be somewhere someone is thinking of going. I just think it is nice to go to a site that someone has recommended. Add a website link or give us a discription of what facilities there are.
We've camped locally just recently but in May this year we went to Southsea Leisure Park - Southsea Leisure Park, Portsmouth, Hampshire. not too bad, nice and clean and you have an entry card which you have to use to get in and out and also for the toilet/shower block as it is right on the beach and people were coming in to use the facilities. The pub was nice and from time to time got quite busy as it is open to the locals aswell. The food was really good in the restaurant. The only thing I would warn you about is part of the beach is share with nudists (no one told us I sat on the beach looking out at the sea and got a surprise when the person came out of the water lmao)
Ok can now see them being inundated for bookings from curious people lol.
I look forward to hearing some of your recommendations - if there's no website link available please put in full address so we can google them and see how far they are.
Thanks for taking the time![]()

by the way thanks Cyber that site looks good :o)
um I have been camping quite alot over the years, but that was through D of E and I can't remember the exact campsites and to be fair alot of them were just farmers fields...the one i can remember well was just that and the only toilets we had were the public ones half a mile down the road, with no hot water and toilet paper if we were lucky! The other times have been at events i've been to in school grounds or showgrounds, so not much help for family holidays!
