What's one of your all time favourite comedy TV programmes?
Gosh there are two I really like My Family & Absolutely Fabulous, if I had to choose one it would oooo be My Family.
Meet the Harper family, who, on the face of it, seem quite normal; a married couple with 3 children. However, this family is far from normal.
Ben is a Dentist who wishes he'd become a doctor. He frequently tries to understand his wife and kids, often with little success. He just cannot wait until his children have left home, something that unfortunately for Ben, never seems to happen.
Susan is a tour guide in a museum, with her second failed passion being cooking. She knows how to get what she wants...even if Ben doesn't want it! Emotional blackmail is one of her strong points.
Nick is definitely the joker of the family, who's main determination in life is to get a job and keep it for more than a few hours. He's been through several jobs, each one more surreal than the last, but ultimately he gets sacked anyway. He never loses his determination and seems happy with his lack of success, even though his father isn't.
Janey is your typical teenage girl with a selfish streak as big as her shopping list. Like Susan, she loves to get her own way. She made Ben and Susan Grandparents by a one-night stand at University, which lead to the birth of Kenzo and consequently her being expelled.
Michael is the most intelligent and, he thinks, the most sane member of the family. He thinks of his family mostly as an oppression, permanently scaring him psychologically with their mad behaviour which he also blames for his lack of success with girlfriend relationships. It's unwise for another Harper to attempt to trick Michael, as he will always have the last laugh.
It on BBC-1 on Friday's 9:00 PM - It has been running for 8 series and they are currently filming the 9th series.
It's hilarious - you've got to watch it :)

Cheeky aren't I
ooohhh only fools and horses hilarious liking ab fab 2 my family little britain the catherine tate show omg the list could go on and on pmsl
A huge fan of Ab Fab but I adore Ricky Jervais so I have to say "The Office"
There are a few I really enjoy watching like:
Two and a half man with Charlie Sheen as a womaniser, enjoying life while suddenly his brother gets divorced and comes to live with him and brings his teen kid as well.
Also I still like Friends, Frasier, The Simpsons and many more that mostly are broadcasted on Comedy Channel.
In the past I enjoyed Married with Children, Allo Allo, Mash and some other British comedies like Dad's Army and Are you being served.
This Fox might out trick you but that does not mean I don't care
Foxy I have to agree - Dad's Army was a classic and the strange thing about it is that it is still funny after so many years. Some of the old classics date quickly like "Some Mothers Do Av Em" but Dad's Army still makes us laugh - even my daughter - coming on 20 - loves it!
Seeing as i am 46 a lot of people wont remember the ones that used to make me larf lol Abott & Costello i used to be in stiches when i was a kid but then do we ever stop being kids lol Ask magz he he he
i love only fools and horses one of the best ever...:top: and there is
tommy cooper and Phoenix Nights and Little Britain.:top:
