Why I started Chatanplay

Ive been asked in the past how chatanplay came into being, and why i decided to run a website. Well, here you will find out how it all started and why.

Years ago, I used to run an online P2P community. It was a popular site, and a place where i met many friends. The community ran for around 7 years or so, but as with most things concerning downloading files of the internet, it just got to risky for many, and I decided I didnt want to be the cause of any of my friends ( or family ) falling on the wrong side of the law. I made the decision to close down.

This site came into being as a way for me to still be active online, and keep freinds together in a fun, safe and freindly environment, whilst at the same time, trying to continue to build the community and attract new people to join us.

Its been a tough job, but also rewarding at the same time.

We have a loyal group that have stayed through good and bad, and the site has undergone many changes.

My goal is to simply provide a mixture of activities, ranging from interactive dicussion, Arcade Games, Interactive Radio, fun betting features, a virtual Shop, Users Photo Galleries, A blogging platform, Social group features, and a plethora of other things as well. Hopefully you will agree that there is plenty here to do to keep busy for a while :)

On the whole, I think ive done an ok job sofar, and its nice to see new people joining, and taking part.

If your an Old timer, here, or if you have just joined up, I just want to finish by saying thank you for joining and being part of what is, and always will be - ChatanPlay.

    I think i am what u can call an old timer ,in my opinion your site has been great from day one. It is a fun place to be a member of and always will be. The work you have done through the years in making the site easy to use and navigate has been excellent i must say. Keep up the brilliant work mate ,love being a site member and user. Its where i spent 80% of my time when not working. Hope the site stays running for many years to come.

    The site is like an extention of our family and we are glad we have managed to meet some of you - would love to meet up again at some time and maybe those that weren't able to join us before will be able to.

    You work so hard on the site Magic and we do appreciate it - we've seen first hand a small glimpse of what you have to do to keep the well oiled machine that is Chatanplay going. I for one would be lost without it x x Thanks for all you do hun

    Thank you very much for all the work you have done and for the idea to create a place like that which feels like a family. It is so rare these days to find so much warmth and friendliness online, but this place is all the good things you can think of. Of course, it all comes from the person behind it all - our Magic, and you truly do Magic.
    For me this place will always mean a lot because of my friend Rasmus (Prince Mio) and all the great friends he has met here. And i will always be thankful for being accepted here, for being allowed to be a part of this great place. Thank you.

    I think you done a wonderfull job keeping this site up an running i dont know anyone that would put heart an soul into a site for other people to use like you have magic we all do appreciate it so much im a devoted user and always will be an i know im a real old timer lol im also addicted to the site so thank you sooooooo much magic
