ok i decided to have a go at this blog lark so if i do it wrong im sure theres a few of you out there that will tell me.
right then here we go 1st entry......noel
i was born in 1964 leeds west yorkshire, the year before(63) my brother was born he was to have been named noel,but when my parents went to registar him they changed there minds at the last minute and said the next boy they had they would call him noel....so i wasnt even given my own name really was i.
my dad is a welder and worked with his dad on the north sea oil rigs and was away for months at a time so most of the holidays our nana used to look after us .
we lived on 1 side of the road nana on the other
side ,remember its the 60's lol mum used to put us to bed in them days at 6pm,i doubt we ever went to sleep that early,but it was bottle and bed on the dot....
the point is we used to get up before mum open the door and run to nanas which was over the main rd ,can u picture us 2 4/5 year olds running over the mian rd shouting nana .nana,nana, cos thats what we did every morning we could, as fast as our little legs could go, in our pajamas as well,nana was always up as you will see she was our favorite nana lol.
