Plea for £2.3bn to fund vaccines

I have very mixed views about this. OK, 4m young lives could be saved in a country which already has insufficient food. Surely the money could more wisely be spent on contraception and stopping the spread of AIDS. Once these things are under control then by all means vaccinate against common illnesses.

i am sorry for these countries but is not amazing this country is in recession yet we still send money tothe thirld world
i know its not there fault i hate seeing children suffer

exactly ,another 2.3 billion .are the people who run our country clowns? do they not see the poverty and lack of housing ect in their own backyard.
time to get rid ov the poverty in the uk and let other countrys dish out billions to the uk when it comes to it we are 1st in the que to dish the dosh to other countrys ,time to get our country in order i think

I am one of seven children my mum an dad found it really hard when we was all young .My dad had to work long distance lorry driving so we could eat an pay the bills . They didnt get any handouts from this country but there was always someone knocking for one charity or another my mum always said to them im very sorry but charity starts at home in this house an its about time our government did the same
