Put vaseline under and around your eyes and under your nose -most of the pollen sticks to the vaseline - so you don't get hayfever so bad :)

Well, I know a few people who suffer from Hayfever, and I know how badly it effects them, but I never thought Id get it. Wrong
Started with the odd Sneeze here an there, thought nothing of it, but when my nose started streamin and the sneezing bouts continued, I realized I had it.
It affects around 1 in 4 of us, so some of you readng this will also be a sufferer.
I had always assumed if you suffered from hay fever, you must have always had it, what i didnt realise was that you can get it at anytime.
Guess I shall be watching the pollen count forecast on the Weather reports from now on, I always found them to be really boring before :)
Are you a sufferer? How do you cope with it? Are there any effective remedies you have and would like to share?
Look forward to hearing from fellow sufferers :)

My poor husband has coped with hayfever since being a young boy. We were told by a friend who keeps bees locally that eating local honey can help the symptoms. It's like an injection for polio - have a bit of it in your system and it will help you fight the problem off. Hubby has been eating local honey for quite a few years now - he mixes it into his porridge every morning and I must confess he doesn't seem to suffer as much as he did.
As for me, I never used to have any problems but over the last two or three years I think I'm developing it. I wake up with very sore eyes, have sneezing fits, etc. Guess my immunity has just worn away now I'm older and the pollen has taken over!
Bib its true my brotherinlaw keeps bees and he is a landscape gardener for years he suffered hayfever untill he started to put spoonful in his cup of tea first thing every morning now he has no probs
are you 2 oldies telling us old wives tales? lolol
Cheeky aren't I
Definitely not Noel - eating local honey definitely seems to ease the hayfever problem!
